Joseph Violi is a Cornell University graduate and seasoned hospitality executive whose career includes leadership roles with The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, Hilton Worldwide, Waldorf Astoria Resorts, Raffles International Hotels & Resorts, and independent luxury properties across the United States and the Caribbean.

Throughout his career, he has often been asked to step into properties during important moments — pre-openings, ownership transitions, capital improvement phases, brand repositioning efforts, and operational recoveries. In these situations, he is known for listening carefully, building trust quickly, and helping leadership teams reestablish focus.

His experience spans urban luxury hotels, golf and marina resorts, beach destinations, and large residential associations with sophisticated ownership structures. He has overseen significant operating budgets, multi-million-dollar renovation projects, and the alignment of diverse stakeholder expectations.
